2006 Balletto Estate Zinfandel

This is the fourth vintage of Zinfandel from our winery. The grapes for this wine come from our vineyard located in an area of the Russian River Valley known for great zin. As grape growers first, we strongly feel that with good grapes comes good wine. It all starts in the field. With the help of winemaker Dan Cederquist, we feel we have once again produced an excellent representation of Russian River Valley Zinfandel.
A beautiful medium garnet red with aromas of juicy red berries, mulberries, black pepper & cream. Bright fruit flavors of pomegranates, red berries and hints of vanilla & oak. This zin has a soft easy entry in the mouth with soft, velvety tannins. Great wine to start with. Enjoy with your favorite barbequed meats & vegetable or would pair well with pizzas and pastas with marinara sauce.

Other Information: Our grapes are picked and sorted by hand. This vintage was aged ten months in 100% American Oak barrels.
