2007 Balletto Estate Gewurztraminer
This is our third vintage of Gewürztraminer. As grape growers first, we strongly feel that with good grapes comes good wine. It all starts in the field, and we have once again produced an excellent Russian River Valley Gewurztraminer.
This flavorful wine begins with perfumed aromas of lychee fruit, sweet pineapple, papaya and tangerine. It has a crisp, lively acidity with citrus and tropical flavors of satsuma, mango and orange peel. Our estate Gewurztraminer is slightly off-dry and pairs well with spicy Thai foods or can be served on its own as an aperitif.

Our grapes are picked and sorted by hand. Half of this vintage was fermented in 100% neutral oak barrels with the other half fermented in stainless steel tank.
