It’s National Guacamole Day!

We couldn’t resist this tasty holiday – so we caved and made our favorite guac recipe to pair with our Sauvignon Blanc.

 

 
 

This has to be one of the easiest recipes in the world and so delicious. This is one of those snacks you can whip up in no time, and is completely fool-proof!

We paired this dip of the gods with our Sauvignon Blanc because the saltiness and bright acidity of the lime perfectly compliments the acid in the wine. It’s pretty mind-blowing how well they go together, my diet might just consist of guacamole and Sauvignon Blanc now.

An important note: We skipped the jalapeños this time (for the sake of the wine pairing). The heat from the pepper can enhance the alcohol of the wine, making the pepper seem even hotter. However, if you prefer to have your jalepeños in there, then by all means add it!
