FROSÉ POPSICLES - THE EASIEST SUMMER TREAT

Recently I have been trying to think of easy treats to throw together to enjoy on a hot night. It wasn't until yesterday, after my mom and I raked together about 20 bags of yard debris at our cabin (girl power!) that a chilled glass of wine sounded AMAZING - but I wanted something different...which is when I thought of Frosé popsicles. They are so simple and can truly have any variation you want - the only must is a good bottle of rosé. I hope you all enjoy these as much as I currently am!

PS: the variation that is my favorite is the Rosé Faux lemonade with berries.

Supplies:

  • 5 oz dixie cups
  • popsicle sticks
  • Tape (I used masking tape)
  • Rosé
  • Berries (optional)
  • Lemons (optional)
  • Sugar (optional)

Directions

Original

  • Set out dixie cups
  • Pour rosé of choice into each cup (I left about 1/4 inch room from the top to avoid spilling)
  • Take the masking tape and create a "cage" (see photo below) and then stick a popsicle stick in the middle of the cage so that it stays in place
  • Freeze overnight

  • Add rosé to the lemon mixture to taste
  • Set out dixie cups
  • Pour mixture into each cup (I left about 1/4 inch room from the top to avoid spilling)
